My eclectic background took me from a small town to the U.S. Army, then on to the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services, to the ever changing world of non-profits working with families and children in crisis. I truly understand the challenges our community faces, especially families navigating child welfare issues, seniors, individuals with disabilities and veterans.
